I'm going to need help from "suave heartbreaker" Gilbert more than "huge nerd" Gilbert, by the way. So, I've got a friend who's got a friend who's kind of a grumpy old man. He's not getting any less grumpy just with friendship. Do you think my friend should try to win his heart and soften him up that way instead?
[ what is this, dr. Phil? You called the wrong number for late night radio love advice, Sheba!!!
Not that she probably doesn't already know that; but, the expression on his face will support it, anyway. ]

—Your friend's friend isn't happy being friends with her or just doesn't like having friends in general? [ no Gil don't get sucked in, this is out of your league... ]
My friend, I mean. Anyway, his friend is just kind of a grumpy brat, but they live together, so I want to give him some good advice so it's not so much of a pain.
Oh... uh. I guess it depends how your friend feels on that, too. Whether they would want to...? What makes you think this will make them less grumpy... ... which is the point, right.
My friend definitely wants to! Or else he would have kicked the grumpy guy to the curb by now.

Yes! That's the point! [That was kind of a long pause for an agreement, but whatever.] Who isn't grumpier when they have a good friend around? You're less grumpy when you spend time with your best friend, right?
can we not talk about his feelings when he's with his best friend because if we don't count Oz with how Gil puts him on a pedestal and all (and let's be real, Gil isn't that stupid to think a normal best friend relationship is quite what he has with Oz when people say the term), that slot technically goes to...
Xerxes Break. ]
I don't know, I could see myself punching my friend in the face once or twice. [ which break also did to him most recently in Zelien he hasn't forgotten that one!! ]
My best friend tried to set me on fire once, so your way is probably better than it could be. [She huffs.] But, I told you! I need help from "suave heartbreaker" Gilbert, not "huge nerd" Gilbert. Punching someone in the face isn't a very friendly thing to do, you know!
Okay, wait. For the sake of simplicity, and we assume everything is as being suggested [ aka he's anything more than a nerd ] You do realize you may not want a "heartbreaker" of any kind for this, right? [ because he's pretty sure the heartbreaker outcome is not the outcome she is looking for.
Even nerds can make sound assessments such as this.]
You're wrong. To be a heartbreaker, everything you do up until the moment you break their hearts has to be really effective. So, my friend will just take your advice up until the moment right before his friend's heart is broken, and it'll all be fine.
I can't in good conscience help in love-life affairs in a place like this that still should have curfews. [ and chaperones. he also can't help AT ALL regardless but you know... ]
gil rubs his temples a moment before he takes a step back and considers the situation before finally speaking up again. ]
This is going to sound weird, but wouldn't it be better to get the thoughts of someone closer to all of your ages? I'm pretty sure my idea of what will make someone happy is a lot different than a teenager's.

...Yeah, I don't see why not. [ so long as this doesn't require use of his night job ... OR DAY JOB, FOR THAT MATTER... ]

[Just as planned...]

[Yeah no Sheba can't even argue this.]
...I'm fifteen.
