[ for Gil, he really needs to get used to the most inopportune times of being barged in on by Oz. this is proven once again as at this current time he happens to be trying very hard to feed Dinah... because the cat is still here, for some reason. Anyway, it's been something of a standoff, with Dinah up on the kitchen counter, tail flicking with interest as Gil uses a.. uhm, literal shovel to try to get the piece of meat to the cat while maintaining as much distance as possible. It's taken six months for him to get the courage and control to do it this way instead of sneaking around to try bs drop it in her bowl when she isn't there.
Now, at least, the cat is willing to pick the meat up off the shovel and hop down to take it to her plate. But, sometimes she decides if he doesn't do it correctly she jumps into the shove and goes right for his face in joy.
Oz's timing couldn't be better (and by better we mean worse). With Gil already trying to steel himself to not give Dinah the opportunity to harass him on top if getting her meal, he isn't expecting a sudden knock at the door, nevermind Oz just entering.
So, this can only go one way; but there is no one word to describe such. He starts, causing himself to accidentally redistribute his weight but not compensate for the shovel length and weight... so it falters. But, he doesn't want the meat to fall off so he kind of without thinking turns back to try and catch it, meaning he sort of jumps forward... Right into the counter and the awaiting cat. And of course Dinah is all too happy to oblige and ATTACHES TO HIS HEAD.
And Oz will get the only appropriate response to his entrance: Gil screaming in the kitchen before there is a thud and silence.
Yes, entering will have a visual aftermath of Dinah picking up her piece of meat and trotting off to her bowl leaving Gilbert sprawled on the floor and maybe unconscious...
